What do Recruiters see on my profile?

As the topic of privacy becomes more important to people and businesses, we want to show you exactly what information Employers have access to when you create an account on Talenboard.

Profile:

Recruiters do not have access to your Talentboard Profile at all. This is kept completely confidential. They are not able to see other opportunities or companies you have applied for or any notes that you may have in your account.

Resume:

If you’ve included a Company on your Talentboard Application, they will be able to view:

  1. Your location – The city and state in which you provide on your resume will be accessible to Employers.
  2. Your phone number – The phone number you provide on your resume will be accessible to Employers. This may be different from the number you associate with your Talentboard account.
  3. Your Talentboard email – We provide all users with a Talentboard auto-generated email address alias to help protect and secure your real email address information. All email communication from employers with your Talentboard email alias is still sent directly to your email inbox.
  4.  Your resume – If you’re using your Talentboard generated resume, the Employer will be able to see any information that you include on your resume, plus the scores of any assessments you’ve taken and chosen to make public on your profile. If you’re using a resume that you’ve uploaded yourself, the Employer will have access to anythingthat you’ve included on the resume.

If you’ve made your resume “Public” on our site, Employers will be able to view the following limited resume information in our resume database:

  1. Name
  2. City and State
  3. Work Experience
  4. Education
  5. Skills
  6. Assessments
  7. Certifications

If you’ve made your resume “Private” on your profile, Employers will not be able to access your resume from our database. They will still be able to see your resume if you apply to one of their roles.

Please note: Employers will never be able to see your personal contact information without your explicit stated interest in their role.
