We work closely with our university partnerships through URx , programs like InternHacks and community partnerships with orgs like ColorStack & Rewriting The Code.
Currently we’re only working with students who are members of ColorStack, Rewriting the Code, are attending an HBCU or HSI, or any student who completed the InternHacks summer program or the MLH Summer Fellowship that are applying for technical roles.
All candidates take a technical assessment powered by our partner CodeSignal via their General Coding Assessment (GCA). GCA is an EEOC-compliant standardized test designed to measure the fundamental computer programming skills. GCA’s large set of questions are created by CodeSignal Research based on the GCA Framework to produce accurate and consistent results. The GCA report will include Coding ScoreTM as well as the keystroke recording, see a sample report here.
We also offer candidates the opportunity to take a live technical interview with our partner Karat.
All Information collected in the TalentBoard application will be provided to you. This includes demographic data (gender, race/ethnicity, school) and information on roles of interest, as well as their technical assessment.
If you have not already done so please add your opportunities here. Candidates will indicate direct interest in a specific role you have posted or in your company generally.
We streamline things significantly for students since they get to apply to multiple companies with one their TalentBoard profile. You can see a step by step breakdown of how it works for students here.
Yes, there are member guidelines and policies. We create and commit to our guidelines and policies in partnership with our member companies. This is a potentially game changing approach to the University Recruiting process. It will take us truly working together to make it happen.
