About The Program
The URx Talent Development Program launched this summer of 2020. It consists of 1-2 FREE professional development sessions per week hosted by a variety of employers. The program kicked off on June 3, 2020 and will end on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

What does it really mean to be an engineer in the workplace? How can you receive and make the most of critical feedback? How should you prioritize and own your growth & development? These are among some of the important questions we’ll review together.
Whether you have many internships under your belt or are just starting out in your journey, we’ll walk through how to make every opportunity count.

New College Grad Panel
Due to COVID-19, the URx community (made up of recruiters & talent development pros) saw firsthand the difficult decisions that some companies had to make in cancelling their internship programs. URx wanted to still provide the students an opportunity to gain professional development knowledge and skills over the summer. The URx Talent Development Program is a series of customized sessions hosted by different employers. These sessions will help students in their professional development to prepare for the fall recruitment season.
The URx Student Professional Development Program will run from Wednesday, June 3rd to Wednesday, August 26th. The available sessions are listed above under “Schedule” on this website.
There is no cost to attend these sessions! They are all free!
Each session will be an hour long.

- Learn more about another company and their employees
- Network with other interns and employers
Nope! The sessions are interest and skill specific. Some more general than others. It is not required that you attend all of the sessions. We encourage you to attend the sessions that you are interested in. IF you do RSVP, make sure that you attend.
